About the Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery:

The Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery was incorporated in 1954.  The first lot was sold in November 1954 and first burial was in January 1955.   After years of development and growth there was a period of financial difficulty.  As a result of this difficulty the Cemetery Association was reincorporated in 1988.

The cemetery is a 501c-13.  We do not receive any monetary support from the City of Muleshoe or Bailey County.  Our income consists entirely from the following sources:  lot sales, grave marking, monument setting fees, and donations.

Regarding donations, it is essential for the maintenance and improvements of the cemetery to have as many donations as possible, and all donations are greatly appreciated.  Please remember, to have our cemetery looking the best to our ability, we rely on donations. 

The Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery Association is now using Muleshoe Local, Facebook, and Gil Lamb Advertising to share our news.  By changing our communication, it is hoped to keep the Association members better informed.  In the future, we will announce voluntary work days, watering days, and any other special news as needed.
